It's not a game-breaker except that it's gonna be annoying running the merc with that red missing texture on the dash. Go to Steam, ETS 2 settings, BETAS, choose the "temporary blah blah blah" for 1. 17 .1. Better don't confuse it with 1. 7 .1. Steam will downgrade and keep that version until you choose something else. So on my notes some optimisation could apply on some areas regarding the new light visuals. I was in the game around 3-4 hours and noticed the following: 1. (I was driving Volvo) The mirrors on the Track are reflecting darker then actually it is by looking trough the windscreen, and looking the virtual mirrors. So I think it is unbalanced there 2, The Road signs are unevenly lit. Just like in real life, the emergency breaks work as following: The truck monitores the distance between you and the other person infront of you. If the distances is too close the truck will immediatly apply full brakes and hazard lights. If this is a false alarm, you as the driver can still apply gas to accelerat and abort the heavy braking. After installing the latest update, the indicator lights in my DAF XG+'s instrument cluster are not working anymore. I first noticed it with the indicator arrows. But I'm pretty sure that there were also lights in the instrument cluster for low beam and high beam and for the parking brake. - 1st press activates daytime running lights, but there you can not use high beam. After the 2'nd pres on the light key, you can switch between low and and high beam with another key. If you have mounted extra lights on the roof or on the bumper / bullbar, these extra lights are activated with F4. I did like pointed above and it looks like the problem is Profile related. I tried an old profile (lots of mods by the way) and lights are k. Something must have messed up my actual profile, is not working even with no mods at all. After all its not a Profile thing. At night lights are k, it is at day time when lights make no impression at all. Okay lets try a different option. Create a new profile, make sure no mods are active, then start the new profile and go straight into the truck browser and see if the lights are working again. In the highly unlikely event that you are in the 1% where some other rare issue is going on, please post the game log from the new profile and I will bug XmB3j.
